Possibly some sort of fire powers for him. Also design wise, he does have some inspiration from oriental dragons but he takes more inspirations from the South East Asian serpent dragons with large horns (I think they're called nagas). He also has elements from Monolophosaurus, Ceratosaurus and Ichtyovenator.

I have one of Monster Hunter games on Steam, actually! Didn't know you could make monster teams there, thought you only fight em yourself
